J CROSS CATAHOULAS - WORKING CATAHOULA BREEDER - WHERE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE AREN'T THE EXCEPTION, THEY'RE THE RULE

Gator was a solid cow dog with a very high drive and all day stay. He was easy to handle and easy to bay on any type cattle. He's accustomed to working in the woods, in all weather conditions, day in and day out. He and his litter mate sister, Cinder, know their job well, and take it very seriously. For play time, it's treeing coons, baying a hog or entertaining their 'kid'. Justin has just begun showing in the cowdog trials at the NALC shows, watch for them in 2006, we expect to see the J Cross team become more and more solid as they learn what to expect of each other. Gator's easy and forgiving nature has been neat to watch as Justin has tried to learn the difference between field penning and trial penning. Gator is pictured with 1/2 sister, Sizzle, showing her the ropes of "cowdoghood".
Gator died at home on August 5th, 2006 from unknown causes. His "smile" will be sorely missed at home and at work.

 

As of 5/06 Gator has NALC Championship points in Conformation.
